Oldest Surviving FJ55 in the world

Firstpig (chassis 31)

Firstpig was purchased in Bathurst, New South Wales 26/11/1967. It spent time in Rockhampton Queensland during its earlier life. It currently reside in Western Australia.

Early Pig history is limiting. Toyota record keeping is poor. The  believe the first shipping of pig where sent to the east coast.

I spoke with the original owner of Chassis number 58. He purchased his car in country Victoria. Obvious economy and range of the F motor was recognise early on.

This car feature a perkin 6/247 diesel engine conversion and long range fuel tank.

Firstpig retains its original F145 motor but has the same long range fuel tank conversion.
